Many of our recent projects have included a blog section to allow users to quickly add content as needed.  We recommend WordPress and we are getting great results with WordPress in both usability and search engine rankings.

We have had the best results with a combination of static PHP pages for the parts of the website that won’t change as often, and adding in a WordPress blog section for the sections that need regular updates.  The static pages are faster loading and can have cleaner static code, while the blog pages will look similar while allowing easy user admin.
